Danilee Luchetti

Made his debut with ‘Domani Accadrà’, produced by Nanni Moretti and Angelo Barbagallo’s SacherFilm. Filmdirector and occasionally theatre andad-film director, he is known both in Italy and abroad for his ‘IlPortaborse’, ‘LaScuola’, ‘Miofratello è figlio unico’, ‘La Nostra Vita’, ‘Anni felici’, ‘Dillo con parole mie’, and the TV mini-series ‘Chiamatemi Francesco’, distributed abroad on Netflix Original. His latest worksare ‘Iosonotempesta’ and ‘Momenti di trascurabile felicità’, the last based on the homonymous novel by Francesco Piccolo. Luchetti has received several awards and has been invited to many international festivals, such as Cannes, Toronto, Locarno, Tokyo and Venice. Among the producers he worked with, in addition to the afor ementioned Sacher Film, there are Filmmaster, Cecchi Gori and Cattleya. Among his working partners there are Stefano Rulli, Sandro Petraglia, Domenico Starnone and Francesco Piccolo. His movies have been recognized nationally and internationally. ‘La Nostra vita’ was awarded with the Palme d’Oro Elio Germano as best actor. Bothas directoror screenwriter, Luchetti was awarded with five David di Donatello, two Globid’Oro,two IOMA,a Nastro d’Argento and several other international awards.


In a world filled with audiovisual information, it seems to be increasingly difficult to assure a non-superficial education in the use of this medium. Over the years, the formal level of audiovisual works has grown due to technical evolution, and productive competition, but the same cannot always be said of audiovisual storytelling. Yet, the new generations seem to be ready to receive new stimuli, appropriately conveyed, to acquire greater awareness and broaden the horizon of their interests. How to conjugate this potential with an established didactic?
