VALERIO FERRARA | Director
Born in Rome in 1996. After a classical diploma and years of study in piano and composition, he graduated in History of Art and Drama at Sapienza University of Rome. He studied film directing at Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome and in recent years has worked as assistant director of Marco Bellocchio. His short film “Notte romana”(2021) was presented in competition at Settimana Internazionale della Critica of the Venice Film Festival, and his latest short film “Il Barbiere complottista” (2022) has been selected at Cannes Film Festival where it won the First Prize La Cinef 2022.
ALESSANDRO LOGLI | Screenwriter
Alessandro Logli was born in Sarzana (La Spezia), Italy, on June 23, 1992. In 2021 he graduated in Screenwriting from the National Film School, Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia, in Rome. In 2021 he won the Carlo Bixio Award for the best concept for a TV Series with “Piante Grasse”. He wrote the short film “Notte Romana” (“Roman Nights”), which was presented at Venice Film Festival 2021 and was nominated for the David di Donatello and Nastri d’Argento awards in 2022. He also wrote the short film “Il Barbiere Complottista” (“A Conspiracy Man”), which won first prize at “La Cinef” of Cannes Film Festival 2022 and was nominated for the David di Donatello and Nastri d’Argento awards in 2023. He wrote the screenplay for the film “Grosso Guaio all’Esquilino – La leggenda del Kung Fu”, available on Prime Video in Italy.
MATTEO PETECCA | Screenwriter
Class 1995, Matteo Petecca was born in San Martino Valle Caudina, South Italy. He moved to Rome to attend the National Film School (Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia), where he wrote the screenplay of different shortmovies, like “Roman Nights” (“Notte Romana”) or Cannes’ award winning “A Cospiracy Man” (“Il Barbiere Complottista”). Today he is a screenwriter working on differt movies, TV series or podcasts.
